In Hamburg there is a reason why the german word for contemplative – „besinnlich“ – contains the „sin“…

Everybody loves Christmas markets – the Reeperbahn, Hamburg’s mile of sin has created a more salacious version – SANTA PAULI. It’s all there, christmas trees, mulled wine, the little booth where u buy things for your loved ones … but as well live music, angels in a strip tent and little things for the ones you love to love.

The drinks on the Winterdeck are called „Bordsteinschwalbe“ (Hamburg slang for prostitute) or „Nussknacker“ (nutcracker) but you can even create your own mulled wine in Santas mulled wine pharmacy.

SANTA PAULI starts every year in the end of november till the end of december, free entrance.

Attention: 25.11. (Totensonntag) the market is gonna be closed.

Mulled wine as you like it

In 2017 the new booth of Santa Paulis mulled Wine Pharmacy „Santa’s Glühweinapotheke caused some sensation: On the basis of high quality white and red wines from the german wine-region Pfalz you can create your very own mulled wine with different flavours. How? Follow the instructions …

The Strip-Tent right behind the Open Air Chimney Lounge Winterdeck (Stage in front of Operettenhaus) has the entrance at the left side of the stage. Entrance is for free.

From 7pm on there are strip-shows for every full hour, at least one men-strip a day for the Ladies.
