Twice a year the residents of St. Pauli show how to haggle and trade in the neighborhood, because from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the traditional neighborhood flea market takes place on Spielbudenplatz. Here, buyers and sellers enjoy the cozy village character of the entertainment mile and, on top of that, all the things that have long eked out their existence in closets and basements change hands over a quick chat.
